Snipe Satalitte problem (1 Viewer)

We just been to France and during a hot spell the Snipe Satallite wouldn't go down to the home position. It just keeps searching for satalite and all the lights flash. Anyone know where in the North we could get this repaired?

Can you pull the power plug off from it and leave for a while---- may help

It doesn't.
Mine has the same problem & it's in the circuit board. Had it to bits & reset it to the parked position. First time it went up it failed to park again

Anybody want a slightly faulty snipe ?
I had the bright idea to convert it to radio controlled, like a model car.
Trouble is that controlling stepper motors involves far too much smoke & mirrors type stuff(electronics) for me.
If I knew enough/anything about electronics, it would probably be just as easy to repair the circuit board.

The bigger problem is your spelling....;0)

Quite a common fault and only fixable by a return to the factory from what I've read

Criticism of someone's spelling is really not on...as for your advice with respect to the satellite antenna I think you are quite right .but there will be no doubt an expert come along shortly with the answer..

I fink that thee ideer of ritting is thaat the ofer perserns understandes wat u are ses. And I fink he dud that.

Also reading rule one would help.
