Height barriers on most park and ride sites but you can usually park outside the one at Phoenix Park (just off M1 J26) Unfortunately you can only use a Nottinghamshire issued bus pass on the trams.The bus passes this site also. BUSBY.

If you're looking for an overnight there are one or two pubs that might let you if you ask nicely.

Forest fields, although sounding an idyllic place used to be a rough district. It is where the 'Goose fair' is located each October. I personally wouldn't park there. The is a site at Home Pierpont, at West Bridgeford, which is easy to bus into Nottingham.

Yes, a good idea if camping as well as parking is required. We had a couple of nights at a rally at Holme Pierrepont last year and can vouch for the bus service.

We regularly use the car and park at The Forest, there is a height barrier, but there is also on road parking on the road leading to the entrance. We've never had any problems.

I was born and bred in Nottingham, and Forest fields, Radford, Basford and St Anns were known for being a bit 'rough'. My first job was a rear gunner on a milk float!

Me thinks Busby is the ring leader
If speed drops below 15 Mph
Check wheel nuts before proceeding

You know what it's like Geo. Going to the Palais De Dance saturday night the security staff asked if you had any weapons, if you said no, they would ask what you would like........gun, knife, hammer, etc;
