Fails the "I need to get out in a hurry" test.
You don't have to have it locked with the key, just turn the knob and you are out i only use the key when i am out of the motor home. when you are in it is just a deadlock from inside.

Just been out to the mh and discovered that the door pulls on the 2013 Boxer extend above the bottom of the glass so the duosafe will not fit. Mrs jansellsbond has given me permission to go ahead with the heosafe alternative unless anyone comes up with a better idea ? ?

Good for you, its not the cheapest but its German, mine is on a 2013 Ducato, they even send you a template so you can cut round the remis blind at the base (if fitted) took me about 30 mins per door, when you have done the first the second ones dead easy.(y)

the picture does not show the bit the lock goes into but it does come with it

I fitted these, from the same supplier. http://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/forum/threads/milenco-cab-door-deadlocks.114749/

Many years
Heo safe door locks for us on the inside, and also additional security deadlocks on the outside of the cab doors too.

You can buy two Fiamma door locks for about the same price and so much easier to use and I think just if not safer.

The Heosafe locks are extremely well engineered, easy to fit and to operate.

I use 2 webbing straps threaded through the door handles which I then ratchet together. Very easy to use, minimal storage space and I have put a 'seatbelt slasher' on the wall behind the drivers seat should we need to get out in a hurry.
Best regards
Nik.

I have one but only use it when leaving the van. It should only drop in the window slot, so would be easy to lift out if a door was opened slighty. I removed the armrests and drilled and fitted behind them. A couple of long hasp padlocks and job done.
