Need a layby or somewhere near Malvern Show ground for this coming Wednesday night. Can you help please.

The only Malvern town car park in which motorhomes are allowed is Priory Road South and overnight camping is apparently no longer tolerated. See this UK Motorhomes article.I am sure you can overnight in the car park in Malvern town for a small charge.

That was a few years ago Steve. The council changed the parking order to try to stop abuse.Be aware lots of others have the same idea.. !!
I re-call something about the car park in Upton and people with Blue badges who parked up in there for about 3-4 days before the show (free) and the locals made some comments....
Officially the current parking order doesn't allow camping in the Upton car park. It was tolerated at first but that now appears to have changed. See Here.We stay in Upton regularly £3 overnight, but lots of hgvs and they do make a noise when leaving in the early hours
we stay over to the left near the hedge and get a good nights sleep, I hope they don't stop the overnight parking there too.

If you are a MCC member there is a rally at Newham Meadow leading up to the show. Was planning to travel to somewhere near Malvern on Wednesday but looking at the posts above, and the number of views, plenty of others are planning the same.
Looks like we'd be better off finding somewhere a bit further away and getting up early................!
What time can we actually get in, forgetting what it says in the official blurb?

But Malvern has gone down hill (as IMV have most "Warner" events) in recent years and I refuse to go now!. I may go to Lincoln, but mainly to catch up with folk we know. Pete
We thought the same about Peterborough this year. We're going to Lincoln but it may be the last.(as IMV have most "Warner" events)
