We are off on our travels again in a couple of weeks through France and down into Spain (for some much needed sunshine).
We are keen cyclists and fancy stopping off somewhere around the Somme battlefields/memorials on the way down and spend two or three days there cycling and visiting the various centres etc.
We are keen to know if any Funsters have any info on parking the MH for a couple of nights.
We are aware there is an ACSI site in Albert, but we usually avoid sites if possible and use Camper stops/Aires. We would certainly use the site if there is nothing else.
So, anyone got any recommendations please?
Thanks

Soissons has a nice little 2 star site cheap and walking distance to the town centre. We did the area last year and really enjoyed this site. And would go back(y)

On the site in Albert and perfect for Somme sites. Thiepval is 5 mins drive away. 20 Euros for 2 adults 2 dogs and 6amp electric
Not used showers, they look dated but OK. Albert is a very nice village

Be sure to visit the Musee de la Grande Guerre at Peronne. The town is lovely and there is ample parking at the Museum . Plenty of good inexpensive restaurants there also.

We stayed at a lovely little site at Seracourt le Grand. Carp lakes all around, great cycle path along the canal in to town, lovely owners
