Nice camping spot between Wissant and Annecy (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

we are going to France in the summer, Reims to Troyes direction and would like suggestions on a nice / pretty camping spot for the night between Wissant and Annecy, either campsite or an Aire, it just has to be nice, (not a car park or a field),

we stopped at Froncles 2 x years ago and would like to try elsewhere this time

We stayed at Lake Chantecoq on our way down in that direction a couple of weeks ago. Camper Contact 1176 or in All the Aires North it's listed as Arrigny - Port de Chantecoq - Champagne 36. It's just South of Arrigny and North of Froncles.

It is an aire of the dusty car park variety but it's huge, far bigger than the 50 vans that CC suggests it can hold and it's perfectly acceptable to sit outside, some vans even had awnings out. There's a 25km walk/ride around the lake if that's your cup of tea.

We thought it was an OK alternative to Froncles, not as nice or as well equipped but what aire is?
