It's true; they do, but when he took it to them they found no end of 'faults' in order to justify reducing their attractive online valuation to a pittance.

Same experience my Dad had. Dad told them where to go and took the trade in offer. We are still getting emails from them 2 years on.

in general its a big con and you get less than trade price

a lot of the stuff they buy at knock down price ends up in car auctions they work on high turnover low margins
