Has anyone a recommendation where I can get a swing table. The arm and fittings are available at O'learys at Beverley at around £70 plus a round table top at £50. Thought about a motorhome scrapyard regarding the top though. Any suggestions?

We were quoted £450 by Swift :Eeek: so £120 is a good price. We got the fittings from eBay for £90 and table top hand made, from local kitchen fitter for £50.

Brilliant. I thought it was a pretty decent price but can't do any harm to ask.

You don't necessarily need to use a MH table top, think of places like Ikea etc that have cheap tables which you could use the top from, or even chopping boards etc!

I bought one from O'leary's, the only problem I found was the leg/arm £75 is a bit heavy duty (pipe is about an inch & three quarters in diameter)the table I bought from another supplier ( from memory about £ 35 ) worked Ok ,sold it with the motor home .

I thought exactly about the weight too. Don't suppose you remember who you obtained it from.
The one I've seen from O' learys is very good but, as you infer, probably too good.

Wow minxygirl, you certainly know e bay. Those sound perfect particularly the grey one. I'd probably go for the grey circular but I suspect it'll be wood effect we'll get. Thank you very very much.

I like the 'egg' shaped ones! :D

If you're not fussy about having new then also look at coffee tables, small kitchen tables, even office tables, on Gumtree etc and Ebay at a fraction of the price of a new top.

I used a large 2ft diameter 'lazy Susan' for a table in a previous MH - I just removed the bottom swivel bit and put the 'Susan' on top of my existing table pole. In another I used a cranked leg (similar to the O'Leary one and they ARE heavy!) along with the top off a dining table I'd got at a car boot sale for £3!

Unfortunately it's the leg that cost the most but if you're not in a hurry you should be able to pick one of the cranked ones up cheaper.
