Tickets are now available to buy online for the Motorhome & Caravan Show 11-16 October http://www.motorhomeandcaravanshow.co.uk/ . If you use code CCM1 the price is reduced a little :) Should work up until 10 October but suggest buying before for Saturday/Sunday as reached capacity one year & stopped selling tickets on entry but did honour those already bought.
If anyone knows of any better discounts, free ticket offers or competitions for this Show then please post here.
If any dealerships spot this :hi: & want to offer Funsters free tickets/entry that would be great!

We booked ours but it seems as though you have to pick a day now as i am sure last year we could use them on any of the days. Perhaps it will be the same when they arrive.

Thank you for Posting.. Do you know if Motorhome Parking is available again ? We noticed many there last year and said we would stay and visit the Exhibition for 2 days this time.

The code knocks off 75p per person.. Not a lot but any amount is good..

We did have to pick which days last year via this direct booking link - think it is so they know when they are at capacity for their fire & safety limits. Complimentary tickets are usually open so don't specify which day.
The weekend can be manic but luckily we can go on weekdays this year :)

The NEC car parks don't allow overnight parking but there is the Caravan Club temporary campsite on one of the car parks which is usually around £30 - £35 per night with EHU & toilets but no showers. CC usually have a marquee with entertainment but understand that the bar prices are very high. Haven't seen a live link for booking this yet.
Know lots of Funsters use the Toby Inn nearby hBroken Link Removed which has allowed overnight parking previously. Cheap hotels (Holiday Inn Express or Travelodge) booked well in advance can be the same price or not much more.

How does one get their hands on said complimentary tickets? Sweet talking a dealer?

The link for booking the temporary camp site is Here.
I don't recall having to book for specific days last year (or the start of this year) either.

Attending NEC shows in the past we have stayed at sites and driven in, stayed at a hotel and driven in and stayed on the temporary site. The temporary site seems expensive but when one factors in all the costs and the hassle factor of the traffic we prefer it over other options.

Agree. We have already booked our site. Visiting the show Thursday & Friday and staying over on the Thursday night. £35.00.. Now to get the Show tickets...

We'll be looking out for any funsters... (y)

Last time we went we spent a lot of money. Hoping it's not the same this year :)

We've booked in the temporary site for Wednesday/Thursday/Friday.
We'll travel down early(ish) Wednesday so we have 2 and a half days or so before coming home on the Saturday.
Did that for the spring show this year and it worked out OK.

Is the temporary site within walking distance of NEC station as we would like to go into Birmingham to meet friends one night?

If it's the same as previous years the CC site is in one of the NEC car parks so walkable to the station.

I spoke to one of the temporary site Marshall's who was helping with answering the telephones at the CC. She said that you could walk BUT, Coaches are laid on every 10-15 minutes and takes you right to the front door. They would prefer everybody to go that way.. We've got our tickets booked for Thursday / Friday entry.. Hope this helps....

If anyone has tickets they now can't use then please post on this thread/the forum as from the prize draw entries there are lots of Funsters who would appreciate them :)
