I heard he'd requested tyre pressure details from Fiat, their 80 psi against Continental's 62 psi made all the difference

Oh dear, just let air out of tyres and slowly reverse out. However looks like damage has been done.

There is a bridge in Pen-clawdd that has the flashing height warning lights and it was funny when I had my big horse lorry because it flashed as I approached and the look ofThe bridges are as bad, if not worse . . .
on peoples faces was

I have encountered that bridge, but because the height sticker on my window was bigger than the max headroom sign, I turned around and found a different route.
What do these people think? I broke the speed limit, I'll break the height limit!

I bet he did a Sundance when he got out.
When I was transport manager for a food distribution company,one of the " not brightest spark in the box" drivers got stuck under a low bridge in Romsey did just that,let all the tyres down and then drove 20 miles back to the yard without pumping them up again.
You can guess the rest!

Absolutely right,not so many since the motorway was built though I guess?
From memory wasn't it the main route to London many years ago?
