Change to LED lights (1 Viewer)

Thanks folks for all your advice. The bulb unit is clipped on into the bulb holder. Had to pry it out gently and the unit comes away hanging on the wires. I removed the bulb and it is printed on the back, 30 degrees, 12v 10w. The bulb has 2 tiny pins. It is halogen. Question is, what wattage will I need for a LED. I would like it a bit brighter. Appreciate your advice. Thanks.

Wattage has no meaning in LEDs because the efficiency varies from type to type. Just go for the most powerful that will fit - this is usually one with 4 LEDs not one with 10 because the 4 newer LEDs will be better than the old round packaged LEDs.

Your main choice is Warm White or White. I prefer warm but the starker plain white will look brighter. You'll only get a similar brightness to the 10W bulb bit burning only 1W.
