After a hectic week fencing at the smallholding I found I was missing a small bunch of keys and after looking at home and in the vehicles decided they must be someplace in the grass. Neither Sue nor the dogs had any luck finding them. so I decided that maybe it was time I finally got into metal detecting. So anybody got a detector no longer used for sale/swap or whatever. Could offer a number of things for a potential swap, Camera, melodeon, air rifle, Sailing Dinghy, kayak etc so come on what have you got lurking in the cupboard.

Hi, Roger,, I got one that you can have a loan of,, :thumb:

I could stick it in the post,, cos of the cost it would have to be recorded delivery,, and you can hang onto it till we get back from our tour..

Give you a chance to have a play on your small holding,,

And if you find any priceless artifacts will go halves with you :winky:

Otherwise I`ll have to inform thereceiver of wrecks.. :ROFLMAO:

Hi Roger

If all else fails I will be down in a couple of weeks, and I could bring mine down.

Roger, I think I'm right in sasying that someone with a metal detector recently discovered the largest collection of old gold sovereigns and stuff since records began. I can't quite remember the value but it had at least four noughts after it.

May you be lucky enough to not only find your keys but a pot of gold as well ::bigsmile:

0 - but I live in hope
I used to do a lot of metal detecting a few years back. First trip out I found a gold groat. Went hundreds of times after that and found thousands of roman and celtic ring pulls but nowt else.

Friend of mibe found a saxon sword end ( not sure of the proper name ) and brought himself a small hotel in Cornwall off the treasure trove proceeds.
