During our recent foray into Europe our rear view camera monitor went kaput so we had to manage for 5 weeks without it which was a bit of a pain so now hubby's bought a new one which arrived yesterday and he's got it wired in and working.

Its a neat unit and sits nicely over the existing rear view mirror; it has touch controls on it as well as a little remote control too so adjusting the brightness, contrast, colour, tint etc is easy peasy. The picture size can be either 4:3 or 16:9 and it has 2 AV inputs and although we're only using one if we want to add a second camera in the future we can.

Very pleased with it and at only £17.99 delviered it was a bargain!

................. and you'll feel even better when you see the prices asked at Shows for that monitor. Well done :). I have the exact same one.

@Minxy Girl do u have pull across front window blinds and do they still close with this over the original mirror?
Was thinking of getting similar but worried about blinds closing.
Thx.

Yes and yes - our previous monitor was even bigger than this and we could close the blinds fine with that - we just had to straighten the mirror, as you would without a monitor on it. The only thing you have to do is make sure the cable to the monitor is tucked out of the way (over and along the top of the blind runner/casing) so it doesnt' get in the way.
