I picked up this hose in a job lot of other LPG fittings recently and would appreciate some assistance in identifying its use. It is about 5 metres long and has what looks like a POL fitting on one end.
The script on the hose is (i think) italian. Due to its length I would guess maybe a BBQ hose or similar.
Any ideas?

You are probably right or it could be a blowtorch lead, is there a date on it I think the recommended usage date is 5years so if you are thinking of using it just check the ingrity of the rubber, if it ha any cracks or perish marks bin it

I concur with both suggestions perhaps BUT
I am alarmed to see what looks like a direct cylinder connector on one end:rolleyes:
That would seem to enable a very Dangerous direct connection to a cylinder without using a pressure regulator:eek:
I would pass on its previous use and cut that big fitting OFF for sure(y)

It is a high pressure hose and must go to a regulator. Do not use it for anything else, unless you take the end off first. Also as previous reply check the date, if over 5 years bin it

If it is a European lead the regulator fits on the appliance it is a strange set up the French used to be notorious for it

I was just about to suggest that.. I've also seen American gas barbies with built in regulators..

Thanks for all your replies. Both ends now cut off and the remaining length of 8mm hose (dated 2016) will be kept as possible spare hose as it is in very good condition
