Well we eventually got here at 6.30 pm left home at 8.30 am. Only did 20 miles this time and the bloody exhaust broke in half. Back to the workshop take it off fix it luckily it was broken in an easy place to fix. An hour later we're back on the road but now 2 hours late and no chance of making the tunnel. M25 flooded and full of morons doing 90 mph so 3 accidents and another 2 hours lost. Eventually arrived at the tunnel 4 hours late no problem place on next train no extra charge.
Just walked into town in glorious sunshine had 4 large beers Jan had 2 then a large pizza now full up and tired.
Honfleur tomorrow weather permitting and hopefully no more problems.
:)

@Forestboy, sorry to read about the hassle Rory, and especially about the gear box.

Rita and I hope that you and Jan can now relax and enjoy your trip. (y)

Safe travels,

@scotjimland, we're not long back from Croatia Jim, and it was lovely. We'd go back anytime, so if France doesn't work out for you, Croatia will, I'm sure. (y)

Cheers for now,

Jock & Rita. :)
