Our 2009 Transit based Hobby van doesn't have a spare which makes me uncomfortable so I'm looking for a spare 16" wheel and tyre combo. Can anyone recommend a good on-line supplier?

I got a pair of new 16 inch wheels for our IVECO chassis, about £80 each if I remember right, scrap yard ones are like rocking horse poo for our chassis and then £50 to sandblast and powder coat so at the price new was OK.

I will try to find the supplier and add to this post.

EDIT. This is who I used and found them very good,

Just get your local tyre depot to put the tyre on for you.

I didn't have a spare wheel on my new Carthago Malibu, just a can of goo, so I have just bought a new wheel and a tyre to match from this seller on eBay ( <Broken link removed> ).

Their contact details are:-
PROMOTOR DIRECT LTD

WHEELS & TYRES SUPPLIED AND FITTED
Unit 2 Eagar Street
Manchester
M40 1EP

TEL: 01616811609
MOB: 07500977544
EMAIL: info@promotoruk.com
WEB: www.thewheelshop.co.uk
FAX: 01616811609

They promptly answered my email query, and after ordering on the phone, the wheel and tyre were with me in a couple of days

Cheers

Trevor
