Very slow traffic 100 m west of Hamburg (1 Viewer)

We were held up for hour and half ( in a 4 lane filtering to one lane ) on the A1 around the turnoff to Bremen en route to Hamburg.
If you're headed that way from either direction choose another route!
Particularly miffed as Garmin camper sat nav didn't warn us!

That road has been terrible for years, with miles upon miles of roadworks and then the inevitable accidents

How does live traffic work? i have never used it but my iGO will think my slow stop start moving is me in a jam and offer an alternative route if wanted. I always decline as you dont know what is up in a couple of 100 yards time and could be back to free flowing in five minutes. Would live traffic know how far ahead is backed up?

I use TomTom live and it's brilliant , offers quicker alternative routes if they are available , saved our bacon a few times I'll tell ya !
