Hi everybody,
I have just bought a van with a with a Cobra alarm and am a bit nervous about it. Any comments regarding this as I previously had a Strikeback which was excellent.

I had a Cobra fitted to the Autotrail.. Very very pleased with it.

Did you get instructions with it ?
Is yours the one with the small round fob with two buttons on it ?

Hi Jaws,
I'd like to send you a PM but can't find the PM button. Where's it gone?

Had one on my last motorhome. The problem I found was that switching off the internal sensors so that I could use the alarm while we were in bed was a right faff. I can't remember exactly but it involved putting the key in the ignition and switching it on, and then doing something else and then switching the ignition off. Got over it by just closing the front concertina blind, which the sensors were behind.

There are lots of different models of Cobra alarm as I understand it and mine was clearly made for a car not a motorhome. Now have a Growler in my new van, which is much better.
