A mini typhoon ... oh yes it was .... at one of the meets blew my awning up .. and dezpite Jake and two other funster men hanging on to it, it lifted them up and then tore. @Terry fixed it tempoarily with gaffer tApe so I could wind it in .. but today I noticed it has the tape hanging down and it looks a bit skew whiff. What kind of tape shall I buy please that is REALLY strong ?

Sorry for typing .. small phone keyboard.

Same thing happened to mine recently, insurance paying for new awning and damage to internal wall.

Be interested to know what your excess is @xsparks , and how much your premium will go up next time.. ( protected NCB is a joke.. sure, it is protected but a claim on insurance will push the premium up any way )

£200 ,but the awning had become a kite and in doing so the anchoring points on the side of the vehicle tried to pull free and damaged the internal wall. Its then that you realize that the walls aren't really designed to take the weight off an awning about 28 kilos in the case of mine.
