We are sitting in our MH at Lyndon top campsite,the sun is dropping down over the horizon,jazz FM is putting out some laid back sounds ,looking over rhe lake and thinking ,this is what motorhoming is about , wifey has a glass of wine and I'm swigging on my ginger beer,the dogs have conked out ,chilled out is the game

Great day today for chilling. Regarding Lyndon Top, I`ve never been but it`s on my list to visit. Must be honest though I was suprised how close you are to others, I was under the impression it was a huge site and park where you like, a little like Shell Island ? Maybe I had it wrong or are you with a group of friends

The wild campers have a meet there this weekend and I believe about 135 plus were booked in so it will be a little cosier than usual

It's usually a lot quieter than this ,there are about 4 rally's taking place , the area is great for cycling and generally gets busy at bank holidays,we were here two weekends past and there were about 10 MHS and caravan on site , outside of holidays it's very quiet

When ever we go just love field 9 down the bottom overlooking the lake, if ever there was an award for most pleasant helpful site warden it would have to go to Arthur think he is one off the hardest working pleasantest people I have met.

Love it. I have some credit due me from my last visit and can't wait to go back. Fields 9 and 7 are my favourites .. due to happy memories.

they charge the earth shattering sum of £7.00 a night ,its a great area for cycling,bird watching,fishing and walking ,i watched a live feed this morning of the osprey chicks being fed by their mum
