I see the AT Cheyenne gas an inner hab door like a stable door where you can have the bottom closed to keep the dog in.

Has anyone made a permanent one for their mh or can you buy them to fit an AT Apache?

How about a piece of ply cut slightly larger than the door opening?
Cut it to the height you want and you can use some sash window locks to keep it in place.

@irnbru : Sandra, Mel ( @Minxy Girl ) has made an attachment for her van specifically for the dogs. Granted she has a PVC but she could perhaps help you out in designing something for a coachbuilt MH. Just a thought, you know she likes a challenge!!

If the Apache interior is like this there's no reason at all why a baby gate couldn't be made to fit, it would probably be easier than the one I did for our camper as the Apache has cupboards either side to tighten the gate up to, I had to put some wooden blocks etc behind the plastic trim to give ours sufficient strength.
