looking for a portable washing machine, any recommendations please, i live in Leeds so any in Yorkshire better for me.....

I,m a newbie
Several on the market Ours is a single tub and works very well. We place it in the shower and fill it from the shower head . Only down side is it uses a lot of water and as we normally wild camp water is an issue .

We've had a portable twin tub washing machine for while now.
The BIG bonus for us is the spin dryer which leaves the clothes very dry
Would recommend

Does anyone know of a lightweight spin dryer on market? Dont really want twin tub as happy to hand wash. Spindryer would be great bonus

That's what Jill is looking for as well. We are quite happy washing with the posser as shown in my post above but a spin dryer would be a great help.
Unfortunately it seems nobody does one :(

7 years followed by a break of 11 years and then 4+ years but given up now
Quite a few spin dryers on Ebay - second hand from a fiver.

We visited a car boot sale this morning and bought a Tefal 325W spin dryer for a tenner. Initial checks OK and will test how well it dries stuff when the washer has finished its programme in half an hour or so :) For the short times that Jill wants to use it, it shouldn't take too much from the battery on a sunny day. Just got to find some way of transporting it now :D
