Water pump help please (1 Viewer)

We noticed our water pressure seemed fine from the bathroom sink but slow from the kitchen sink and the toilet flush is also slow. We have checked all the pipes and also swapped the pump for our spare to no avail. Does anyone have any ideas what could make the pressure low to only parts of the system?

Im no expert but you may have a air lock in the system also is the pump coming on when you switch the kitchen tap on if not could be a duff micro switch on kitchen tap

I think it's the flow rate and the kitchen tap is new.

Flow rate can only be a partial blockage or a leak.

It may be the new tap is faulty, maybe the wrong bore size or manufacturing debris inside it. but that wouldnt explain the slow toilet flush

We had same sort of trouble ended up being the toilet apparently the solenoid was faulty didn't even know it had one!

The tap is ok, it was new last year and worked fine. @Munchie had a good idea and suggested we blow back down the tap to see if it clears anything. If not we'll dain down and re-fill. Hopefully a pesky little air bubble somewhere!

All sorted!! It was a pesky air bubble hiding down a pipe somewhere. The toilet flushes so good it does next doors toilet too now . Better go and mop the bathroom as the air bubble came out with great force followed by a shower

I have been feeling really guilty at neglecting the blog!! We had so much going on with the house sale. I plan on doing an update on the last 6 months and now we are touring again I will do my usual monthly blog. Watch this space

We restarted the whole process of drawing the water through the hot taps first and then the cold and all the air came out. Hubby thinks he forgot to bleed the hot side first
