for a 06 merc Aclass Rapido...

Looking to update my stereo and especially the speakers in the front cab as we like our music load when traveling...

Any ideas or what have you...?

buy a quality DAB/FM/CD, any of the upmarket brands will deliver loud noise if put through decent 3 way speakers,
I have fitted 2 large pioneer speakers to the bottom of my drop down bed directly overhead the drivers seat, you don't need them that loud to appreciate the music,
my Sony head unit can be controlled remotely, so I can operate it from the bed over the garage without getting up

We've got a Pioneer DAB head unit which doubles up as the sat nav and reversing camera screen and also Pioneer speakers through the whole van. We've got the Pioneer truck/camper satnav module.

Highly recommended, it sounds great.

Yes, it is double DIN. It's an AVH-X3600DAB The satnav module is an AVIC-F160
