Any help re this problem please ?

All our towing electrics work Ok but when we have the side lights on, then indicate, the side lights alternately flash in the indicator cycle !

Any ideas please ?

Haven't had a chance to look but I am wondering if it may be a bad earth ???

Thanks :thumb:

Just had similar problem on my box trailer,,

Took both plug and socket off and stripped wire back an inch or so cleaned inside contacts and gave a wipe of vaseline,, remember to write down the colour of wire to correct number on rear of plug/socket,, plugged it in and every thing ok. :thumb:

The white "Earth" I think did look dodgey.

I was lucky the fault must have been in the plug or socket, so I didn`t have to delv any further. ::bigsmile:

I would go with the earth problem but if that fails check the bulbs, we had a problem a while back and it took hours to find - a twin filament bulb blew and the element laid across the earth of the brake side so it still worked but was giving similar problems to a bad earth - easy enough to check if you have a spare bulb set just swap them over one at a time to prove them.
