Anyone used these, We have been given the access code for the offices next door to our cabin in the Mosel, but signal is a bit weak and I would like to boost it without trying to explain in my very poor German thatcI need to pair up a device with their router.
Need something that I can just boost the signal.

Shouldn't be a problem as you have the wifi access password.
I have two...an Aldi special upstairs and a BT in the kitchen.

Plug in the extender then open wifi on your pc/tablet etc.

Select the extender from the list of wifi points and enter the router password.
If available select auto connect then it will auto connect when in range

Yep had several. You get as good as you pay for as in many things in life. Two basic types those you point that have higher performance or those that get it from any direction.

Further sub divisions are those that create a hot spot in the van that more than one can connect to or those that plug into the USB of your lappy which are the simplest to use.

do a search its all been explained before in great detail.
Thanks Bernie I was looking for something specific that someone has used that does not need to be paired with the router by pressing something on the router which some seem to need.
I can connect the device to the mains but it will not be the same ring main as the router.
