CC club site at Lose Hill is very good, private site at Rivendale is also very good. We are off to a CL at Cowdale Hall near Buxton a week on Monday I'll try and remember and post a report when we get back (Leckie and showers £8 a night) ::bigsmile:

Bakewell C &CC site good but a minimum facility site, no showers or toilets but plenty of electric points. Quite remote, about 3 miles from Bakewell. Approach road very narrow from Youlgreave, not really suitable for large motorhomes.

I can recommend the Caravan Club site north of Leek.
It is within walking distance of a pub with food, and there is a scenic reservoir walk also within walking distance. We were there last week, and the scenery was great.
