What is this for? It seems to have a water connection on the front, a pressure gauge on the top, and a car tyre type valve.

Have you got a house water pump?
Maybee I'm going (gone?) daft but, some older American RV water systems used compressed air to pressurise the system, theory, fill with water the go to garage and pressurise, as said daft but.......?

Ok, so if it is a 'surge damper', how does it work and what do I do with the pressure valve and the hose fitting on the front?

i didnt realise it went that high but then, the americans like doing things big...
just 'cos its showing up to 100psi doesnt mean it has to run at that pressure though.
it just seems logical if it has both air and water connections its a damper.
maybe a PM to Damondunc could help as he knows RV's inside out.:thumb:

I doubt if I'd have any idea what 'it' is But I'm concerned that I can't see either a pic or a link. HELP !!!
