Hi all,

I've recently been up to the lakes, Pooley Bridge (Hillcroft Farm) large site, overlooking Ullswater, brilliant, however, we got put on an uneven pitch and the van sloped off to the back, Delilah's seating is as the back!

I've been looking a some level chocks etc, but not sure which ones I need, do I get the Jumbo or would a standard set be ok?

Any help as always, appreciated. (Oh, the picture was Beechfroft Farm in Buxton last weekend)

We've got ramps but rarely use them and that's throughout Europe.
Suggest the standard size

If it was me I would go for the Milenco Quatro Leveling blocks. We have them and have been on the top step loads of times and still not level, it's quite surprising how much you need to go up by due to the wheelbase of the van to get somewhere near level.

I broke two sets of Fiamma, standard and jumbo.. before buying the Milenco..

as mentioned.. they are rarely needed.. but when they are, excellent..

however.. good on hard standing.. but used on grass or soft ground they tend to sink in.. then you need Tracmats .. http://tracmat.com/index.php? to sit the ramps on top..

Quattros for us too however don't use them that often. Just put up with the "ski slope" most times!

I have to agree with the two knowledgeable posters above, I always used the Quatros with my last van and I'd use the fourth level occasionally but I'd rather go up to the third level with Quatro than the top level with the smaller ones. Less fear of driving off the other end.

We use the Milenco Tridents same max height as the Quattro but only 3 steps, as they are shorter they are easier to store.

Millenco Quattro levellers have the advantage of a solid base so they're less likely to sink into soft grass than the equivalent Fiamma type. They're also a bit taller.

With the right levellers you can have a beautiful day:

Quattros for me - as the front is low - sometimes need the full height - although it has been recommended to fill the rear up with bottles of booze to counteract the level

Wowzers... Thanks guys, for all your responses, it would appear that Quattros are the way to go. Incedentally, @scotjimland we were on a hardstanding pitch with a rear slope even Eddie would have been frightened to ski down..

I'll get them and stock the front up with booze next time and not even bother using them.

Saying all that, if you drink said booze it won't matter a jot, you'll not notice if you were up or down!

yes, Quattro's here too. However they are quite big so make sure you have room to store them. You may have to compromise and go for something slightly smaller if space is tight.

Just measured ours - c32" x 9.5" x 8.25" in their bag.

Have the standard fiamma and they cope with most slopes I have had to deal with. However, the site at Portsoy that we love is badly sloped do I have just bought the Quattros. Yet to try out but they should cope with any slope, I hope
