I admit to being confused by their booking system
It says that 2 bunk inside cabins are included by default at £98
It then goes on to give prices for other cabins but instead of saying this will cost you an extra x? it says outside twin bed £113 so I never booked them  but what it actually transpires as is £15 extra   muppet

I have been baffled by many online bookings, the most recent was the trip to Holland on Stena. It came up with a tick box saying "Would you like a complimentary bottle of prosecco in your cabin?" Well Der! Ticked the box, and it got to the bit before payment and flagged up, please call customer service. So I did.
They called up all the details, and then tell me that I'm not entitled to the free Prosecco! So why bloody offer it!!!!!!

P & O..
They have ruined our summer trip to Ireland as there is no way we can afford it now
Started off at £97 one way and £107 back.
A week later and that has more than doubled..
Sod em.. I will only use P & O as a last resort now

not long enough
Anyway so now I've upgraded the outbound and have to keep checking the return for availability.
In future I'll go VIP

whenever we used the Hull crossing we went 'Commodore' or similar such naval related name, TV kettle, you used to get a free mini bar with wine and 12 spirits and all the mixers plus fruit juice and chocolate, all included, hlopefully you may still get everything bar the spirits, but even the proper beds and kettle were good value, and usually right at the front of the ship under the bridge, quiet and less roll

got similar on a Le Havre crossing some years ago, but only used chunnel recently

I've never seen prices go down especially on the same computer as with cookies it knows you're back and laughs at you while calculating what to charge

We travelled Zeebrugge to Hull last month with P & O and had the basic bunk bed room booked. When we got there and saw that it was smaller than a hamster cage we upgraded to the next level which was a outside twin - cost £25. So it looks like it's cheaper if you book it in advance.

An hour or so pleasant meander down the motorway and choice is everything, trains or boats with just 90 mins to enjoy a meal on board before it is time to disembark and enjoy your holiday, none of this cabin palaver to worry about or pay for. :);)

This is the actual wording with my recommendation in RED

RELAX ONBOARD
Since our crossings between Hull and Rotterdam/Zeebrugge are overnight, a inside standard cabin is included in your ticket price.

You can also upgrade your cabin for more comfort and luxury. The additional price is as follows

I would then expect a twin outside cabin to say £15 rather than £113

I always regularly clear cookies when checking travel prices, last year when booking flights to Thailand they went up £50 each, cleared cookies they were back to original price.
