Hi we have just found out we can go away next weekend Saturday to Monday, any suggestions where we might find availability at this late date. We live in Stockport for within 1 1/2 hour drive away? Just stayed at Bay View, Carnforth for the weekend. Very clean and friendly site.

If you're a CCC member have a look to see if there is a rally or THS near you or within a short distance.

Unless you've pre booked a year in advance forget the big two. Head to Lytham and stay on there aire. Spend your money where you are welcomed. Good luck and enjoy.

From Stockport, for a quick break, I`d head for the Peak District but then my choice and timing isn`t always great.
I`m in Scotland at the moment and it`s blowing a hooley !
Don`t even dare to put up the Oyster dish or I`d be watching it spin across the bay

Just got back from a lovely few days at Hooks House Farm Robin Hoods Bay http://hookshousefarm.co.uk/. The facillities are a bit basic but clean, fabulous views, on a bus route (every half hour) to whitby, robin hoods bay, scarborough. You can walk into Robin Hoods Bay. We stayed 5 nights which is nearly unheard of for us. We left today and there was only one tent left there. Worth booking as they don't have much hard standing and the ground is quite wet.
