Just browsing motorhomes (I'm bored) and stumbled across this 7 berth Carioca.
An unladen weight of 3500kg and max weight of 3500kg, even with uprating surely this would be unfit for purpose.

I don't know how any of them get away with selling these co called 6 and 7 berth vehicles plated at 3500kg.

None of them are fit for purpose.

With the one in that link you don't have to worry about the driver, just filling it up with diesel would put it over weight.

That's typically MMM BS! Absolutely pathetic and unprincipled reviews. Want a proper review look at German magazines!:(

Payload of 610kg isn't much for 7 people.
If they were my size it would be overloaded even if they took nothing with them.
I have to admit that many years ago I had a 7 berth motorhome (just two belted seats) and I hadn't a clue what it's weights were, seemed to handle OK even with a full water tank and six bikes (three on the back and three on the roof) and sometimes a scooter on a towbar mounted rack as well, and loads of other stuff.
