Robots....or just plain BOTS.
Computer programs which hunt out websites such as this and simply lurk in the background.
Similar to google which sees you have mentioned something on the forum, insurance for example, and places relevant ads on the right of YOUR screen.
You may have noticed on some websites you may have to enter a code sequence to request or reply to something, that is to prevent BOTS from logging in etc...they cant read the code so cant enter it when requested.....thus, they dont get in.
Thats how I see it.
