Does anyone know how far the walk is into Benidorm from the Villamar campsite? I know its about 10-15 mins from Villasol. I have narrowed it down to these 2 but totaly torn now.

Villamar is the further away by quite a bit and, in my opinion, not nearly as nice as Villasol. I'm not being biased here as we stayed at El Racó for the Winter, which is better than both and about 20 min on foot .
Edit...that's 20 main for us slow old folk

As above..
Villamar is a lot further out and a good walk or bus for €1.50.
Depends if you plan to spend lots of time in the town or not..

I thought that there could be a fair walk to get off Raco before you got to the bus stop, depending on where you was pitched. Although there aren't any buses running passed Villasol it's a fairly easy level walk to town or you can take a hilly route if you wish depending on where you want to be. Terreta could be considered as that has a bus stop close by. I'm not sure what time the last bus comes back from town as we always walk when we've had a few and it's usually well after midnight.

Quite surprised to get ACSI rates at Villasol. Wifi was rubbish. Peros No is a waste of time, what with all the local guard dogs cracking off every night. Everything else, others have said.

You might not be that lucky to pick and choose we were there last week visiting the folks, there was a bit of a changeover going on as the Brits were moving off and the Spanish moving on, but the site was full and pitches were filled instantly - from what I saw pitches were much of a muchness - the Spanish are able to prebook not sure if same applys to Brits in the summer season?

Id choose La Touretta which is about 6 - 7 mins walk closer to town than Raco.
