Has anybody got knowledge of of a place to overnight near as possible to Sheffield Arena near end of April.
As close as poss as will have to get a taxi to the arena for a disabled person.
Don't mind paying, or wilding.
Pub, car park, site, whatever.
Been searching but I can't see anything close apart from one person listing Macdonalds car park near to arena, but don't really fancy that!

22nd April cheapest night ar Premier is £95, ain't paying that to park MH, don't want the room, can't remember last time I stopped in a hotel etc.

rip off merchants its normally £40 ...lots of industrial sites around the MacDonalds is on a large shopping car park

Really struggling, looks more like the 3 merry lads as the wife will be in the MH whilst I take grandson to event, don't want to leave her in a vulnerable spot where may be told to move on or worse.
Will have to work out taxi fare as public transport not in equation

If you are in the Caravan Club there is a CL at Bradway on a farm with ehu but not sure how far it is into town. (Border View Farm I think 9 miles)

Just a thought...if you have a blue badge..then why not use it in the moho and park in the disabled parking at the arena. I believe you have to prebook on site? And also stay at The Horseshoe lakes at a place called Wales not too far from the Arena...a lovely site...and all in all decent costs with everything.

Hello we have stayed at 3 merry lads and it's only a 10 minute drive from us!(neighbours twins had a 21st birthday party!!) it has water hookup and great food. If you let us know what date we can take you to the arena in our car! Please PM me with your details.

Well the missus has made a decision, she doesn't want to go now, so me and the Grandson will be demoted to staying at the Premier rip off inn.

They certainly increase the room cost when an event is on at the arena tho.

A bit late - we had the same problem when visiting the arena. We ended up staying at the Mercure Sheffield Parkway, it was much nicer than the hotels next to the arena, good parking and a few minutes to the arena. The estate it is on looked ok to wildcamp, we returned in the early hours and there was nobody about.
