Help I need to book a ferry home. (1 Viewer)

I need to book a ferry home on Friday 05:30 Dieppe to Newhaven. I have tried the number in my phone (which I have used before) +44 (0) 844 576 8836 and checked it on their website. All I get is an American voice telling me "there is no route"
I do omit the zero and use the +44
Does anybody have the correct number so I can phone them in the morning please?

Which company are you trying to call?
Cheaper to book online & you don't have to print anything out.. Number plate recognition at port will bring your booking up as you approach booth.

If it's a UK mobile I think you should be able to just phone the normal UK number.

Go to the ferry port in Dieppe and you'll be able to buy your ticket there.

You can't get the 20% over 60s discount booking on line,,,Don't think its any more expensive just turning up unlike P & O who rip you off at the port. BUSBY.

I assume you are actually putting in 0044 and not 044, ie the + counts as a single 0, not double, so you have to put in 00

Hi . Just crossed back this morning from Dieppe. Changed my original booking on Friday1st April at 05.30 to today. Used this number to change the booking. 0844 576 8836,and got through immediately. Had to pay £10 admin fee plus the difference between the two tarifs.My van is 8.5m x3.4m. Hope you get sorted.

Are you calling the number in post #2 marked international, that is the 0800 number? You can't call an 0844 number from outside the UK I believe.

Did you use the number as written or did you use the 0044 omitting the 0 at the beginning?
I have tried both ways and get the same message.

Hi.Yes i dialled 0844 number from France.I used 0044 and left out the 0,and dialled 844 etc.Hope this helps.I am now back in sunny West Wales.

Thanks for all your help and advice Funsters. I am writing this from on board the ferry just entering Newhaven. The strange thing is that I tried the number from Jans phone and it worked first time on Thurs morning.
Even better news the ticket was £65 including our over 60 discount there are some advantages to getting older
