I suggest you talk to Dave Newell - he fits them and is well regarded by Funsters who have had work done by him (me included).

Dave fitted mine and I wouldn't be without it, he does great work, gives you tickets to local museums etc, there's a camp site just over the road and what's more gives Funters discount.

We have a Bessacarr E425 and had Cruise retro fitted....one of the best addons you can have.
Mine was fitted by an auto sparky in Stoke on Trent.
Had no problems at all.

Had a cruise control fitted on our Bessacarr and it was superb. mine was fitted by a guy in Newark Rob Leafe of Automate. Very good job and no hassle. My new motorhome came fitted with cruise control otherwise Rob would have fitted along with all other parts he fitted.

Had a retrofit on our Hymer S 630 a couple of vans ago. Basic action but worked like a dream, would not be without one.

If your base unit is a Peugeot pre 2006 its twice the price of a one for a fiat ..speak to Dave Newell he will put you right ..i was going to have one fitted to my van but at about £800 I wasn't ever going to happen...before any one jumps in ro say that price is rubbish just remember I was quoted that from a trader on this forum and have no reason to doubt his price as I was explained to in detail why so expensive. Roy

Had mine retrofitted three years ago by Conrad Anderson, no problems at all although they did mention before I had it fitted that sometimes they can blow brake lights. Hasn't happened yet and wouldn't be without it

2001 to 2010(ish) will now use the same base kit (AP900), only the Tee harness to connect to the pedal is different so no reason for pre 2006 to cost any more than post 2006, Fiat/Peugeot/Citroen are all the same van so same kit fits all.

Well, I live near Banbury and have been to Dave Newell in Telford two or three times to have work done (not a cruise control in our case as our van has one that was fitted during production). Make a day out and have it done - It's not that far to Madeley (just south of Telford) where Dave is based.

Hi Roy, I don't know who gave you different information but I've been fitting cruise systems since late 2001 and to date have fitted several thousand, mostly on Ducato/Boxer/Relay based motorhomes but also to things as diverse as a 17 Tonne Volvo truck and a Smart car. Never mind a ballpark figure I'll give you an exact quote, £418.86 fitted inc VAT less 5% funster discount.

Hi Dave, I can't believe you do this conversion & I never discussed it with you.
It has always annoyed me that the twit who originally bought my Burstner paid £600 for an alloy wheel option, & yet didn't pay the £206 for the cruise control option !
You know my van now ...... can I assume that the above quote will apply ?
