We have a Raipdo 7065ff 2015 have bought gas it system not too sure whether I should mount inside gas locker or to the side of it with a right angle filler it would go into gas locker but I would have to seal the hole inside shoe cupboard as it would otherwise could potentially leak gas into van if ever leaked
Has anyone else done the same or what advice would anyone give

I had mine fitted to the skirt below the locker door, reason being twofold. 1st if I wanted to remove the system no big holes in the door and a simple blanking plate would be unnoticeable. 2nd when filling up it doesn't look like you're refilling gas bottles which some forecourts get suspicious about.

I run a Dethleffs and gas bottles are mounted on a slide system. Fabricated angle plate to mount filler internally on slide, didn,t want to cut hole in door or skirt.
Bottle locker already has vent in base.

Looks like the skirt is not an issue to me but I would probably run it across underside to the skirt adjacent the diesel fill

Living the dream.
Side skirt for us opposite side to the bottles puts it on the fuel filler side incase we need both. Saves messing about.

In-locker fillers can be a problem at fuel staion forecourts.
The attendant could suspect you are filling regular calor type bottles with an adaptor and wont turn on the pump.

NO lpg powered car, their most regular customers, will have an internal filler so it will look suspicious opening lockers.

You can get blow back from the filler gun, especially when you disconnect it so I think this needs to happen outside the vehicle, not in a locker.

Ours is fitted to the outside (factory fitted tank) if I was fitting a refillable bottle setup I would go with outside fill point (skirt looks a good compromise).

We have been checked twice now in France before the pump was turned on, and fitting the fill point to the outside removes the suspicion from the forecourt operators (I fit the hose then stand clear to demonstrate its a "proper" installation)

Yes, we were checked first time ever at a supermarket filling station in Charente couple of days ago.

Same as Andy run across adjacent to diesel fill. I ran my fill hose in a corrugated plastic tube for ease and protection.

If your concerned about a flimsy skirt reinforce with an alloy shelf braket glued into place...always fit mine through floor onto sill. (Panel vans) no damage easily moved to next van.

We have ours in the skirt. Kindly fitted for free by @andy63 . Much better for going into filling stations, saves suspicions.

You fed me lol...
haven't looked through the thread but worth mentioning that some skirts may need some support as the lpg gun is quite a bulky item..kindly pointed out to me by @Steve before I did yours..
