Our Adria was named Wanda when we bought her new two years ago.

Partly the wandering and partly as in 'I wanda where we'll be tomorrow ... ?'

FWIW, Tina sounds fine to me. But then again, I wanted to call ours Brian.

We decided against naming. A name implies a personality, and a van with a personality usually means things going wrong. Better to think of it as a well engineered machine.

Well well, just like the old saying about the bus wait all this while and two come along. Firstly the new ( need the tin hat on ( and almost certainly it will come shower hat ?? ) Moho Autotrail an also it's even a Tribute ( how bloody stupid of me ) watch this space!! Anyway the main reason of my reply is I don't normal name our travel things until the registration came through and not wishing to put all of it on here the last bits are UCY so it has to be LUCY. Even the sales guy commented on Juicy?? Just had to edit this bit in that I did say to hwmbo that I would not post about our new purchase but as she knackered after last two days hay ho !!

Ours is 'the van' - as was the van before this one, and previously applied to our caravan(s) LOL

We actually already have a Wanda - JAWS can confirm this as he has defo seen us on it - Wanda is a Honda, obviously - a (shiny) black Blackbird.

We also still own Trixibel (thinking of the Geldof clan) the Triumph Trophy - after which (whom? LOL) Pete my husband styled his user name on every forum he happens to join - Trophychap.

He doesn't agree with names for inanimate objects at all, as it goes. That's OK though - I can certainly think of a lot of namess that apply to some of the living breathing things I happen to know, though ......
