Hi

Could anyone please confirm, When connected to power supply at home, we wish to charge batteries, with the charger unit in wardrobe switched ON.

Does the EC200 control panel above door need to be on also or will charging take place with the control panel still in OFF position.? The Motorhome is a 2003 Swift Kontiki 645.

Thanks in advance

Hi Mark, after checking wiring diagram and operation it appears that you don't have to have control panel over door on to charge leisure battery but if you want to charge vehicle battery then you need to turn control panel on and then select vehicle. Although its not detrimental to leave the control panel switched on, at least you can then turn on lights when dark without having to enter first. Having the system on only draws a very small current from the leisure battery. Check to make sure ariel booster is turned off, unless your on hookup. Hope this helps. Luke
