I have an Avtex TV.... apart from watching the tele or DVDs.. I use it as a monitor (screen) for an in-van PC...

However.... when using as a monitor (HDMI) .... If I get up from (the turned-around) drivers seat to; say pop the kettle on; and pass the screen... it blanks as I pass it... then reverts back to normal....

This happens Every Time.... without fail....

WHY?... one for you tecno freaks!...

Because as you pass it you're at an oblique angle to the screen then you're looking at the back of it?

As above or dodgy connection of hdmi cable being disturbed as you walk past it.

Otherwise, use a flask for your tea so you don't have to move.

maybe the first sign your floor is delaminated, excess movement in the floor as you pass, or you just weight too much

we have had issues with our TV in the past with connectors, advised on here to remove the 90 degree bend connectors that look neat, solved a lot of our issues

I'll have another go.... how about the wifi signal to your pc, you are inside a tin box so this could be affected by a body movement. As Holmes would say..Once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth.

Loose connector - every time you move past it it makes the connector move and lose the signal ... try removing the HDMI connection and putting it in again, or try another HDMI lead as they can be a bit 'loose' sometimes.
