Hi,

I've installed a CSB-2......I think I have done it correctly, but am not getting a lit LED. Does this just come on when charging of the starter battery is activated or should it be lit all the time once the device is installed correctly?

Thanks for any help.

It will only light when it senses 13.6 volts. So it will not transfer charge until your solar has pushed the voltage up

Plug in an EHU lead, when leisure battery reaches 12.6V the green light will come on, it does on mine. Thanks to Andy(y)

I just plugged in the EHL and i registered 13.4v for the leisure batteries on the screen of the vans main control unit. But, the csb-2 green led light came on, so i think its probably working ok and the van readout may not be so accurate.

Probably the start up voltage of the charger peaked over 13.6 after which it will continue to transfer charge until down to 12.5
So if you switch your charger off now and watch the voltage fall it will confirm it is working to spec so it cannot discharge your leisure battery

Thanks Andy, I've had it turned off for a while and the voltage was down to 12.8v with the green led still lit. When i put a load on the leisure batteries just now by turning on the diesel heating, the green light clicked off.
