I have copied this from another forum I am a member of, someone may wish to take part and see their name in lights:ROFLMAO:

"ITV have contacted me to ask for help in programme research for
contributors living in their vehicles. They have commissioned a
primetime film which tells the story of a week on the roads in London
following interesting stories of the very people who use London's
streets on a daily basis.

They said:
"We want to feature all the stories across one special week and want
that period to include a great range of characters including people
living in their vehicles between September 6th–14th 2009. We want to
provide an incredible insight into the story and reasons behind people
in London, living in their vehicles. Whether they have made the decision
to renounce all worldly possessions for life on the open road or have
been forced to make the move due to the financial climate."

If anyone thinks they fit the bill for this, ITV can be contacted
directly on 0871 626 62 62 or email sevendays(at)itv.com"

So, they want to film people who are living in their vehicles for possibly 9 days. Could be more, or face it, could be less. Could be someones 15 seconds (forget the minutes) of fame. Even when I was just 12 I refused to do the village pick-up of litter (for the Jubilee, go on, work that out) because the BBC wanted to film it days after it was done and us in guide uniform leaping out of a tractor. None of which happened on litter pick-up day. Why would it have been so much less interesting if they have been there at some point, on the day, and filmed us then. NO REPLIES ABOUT UNIFORMS!!! I love a good film... but if it is real life 'they' are talking about, record it live. Whatever they film will be so set up that it will be fairly pointless. My opinion, Jane (no icons to match)

From how i read it, it seems more like they are looking for homeless people, or folk who have fallen on hard times living in any kind of vehicle on the streets of London.

Nothing to do with fulltime living in a motorhome.

That's how I read it too. I don't think it has any inttention of showing the motorhome lifestyle in a favourable light. If anything I believe they will portray us as just a bunch of freeloading gypsies who need to be removed from the streets of London along with other vagrants in time for the 2012 Olympics

I fear this programme will do a lot of damage to people fighting to get councils to provide overnight parking facilities for motorhome tourists in the UK.
