Looking at reasonable quality speakers want ideally a rechageable one mid sized (not a pocket one) good quality and of course not too expensive (so bose is out). Saw one at Richer Sounds Broken Link Removed anyone got one to recommend

I have one too. I concur that it is superb quality sound.I've got a Bose SoundLink Mini which I can't recommend highly enough.
It's far better than it has any right to be given it's size. By far the best sound I've ever heard from any speaker of this type.

Conversley I have the iPhone 6 but my hearing cannot measure the difference in relation to price and I don't think it will handle your incoming phone calls eitherJust to get a feel for the people who paid for the bose are there any pro bose purchasers who fell apple is a rip off!!!!!

If you mean a bluetooth speaker, you can't as they are both receivers not senders.Has anyone tried pairing a Bluetooth with their van stereo i have tried without succes, just wondering if there is a trick or if it is not possible

@sdc77 i have just ordered one of these and this may be a daft question, but how do you connect it to your to in the van?I know you said you didn't want one but it's another vote for the bose soundlink mini. As @NickNic said it's a great bit of kit. It also has a great battery life. In the van we use it as the tv speaker as well as playing music via bluetooth
