Hudl 2 facebook posting problems (1 Viewer)

My wife mainly uses the Hudl 2 to do the facebook stuff...but of late, approx last couple of weeks, she is not able to reply to posts, as after typing a reply, the post button is nowhere to be seen.
She is still able to start a post, as the post button is then present.
Everything is as it should be if she uses her f/b account on the laptop (still happily running windows 7).
Have googled this anomoly and found several hits, but a cure has not been posted.

Any ideas anyone ?

I've only just started to use Facebook and am using a Hudl 2. I had the same problem and have to toggle between desktop view and mobile view and it works on one or the other.

By the way can your wife make an album and put on multiple photos at once?

click on the enter key on the keypad. does the same thing as clicking the reply button on fb

It might be worth checking which software update is on your Hudl - look in settings then check on the Amazon site for update info

Is she using a different browser? I've found that some web stuff will work in one but in another the buttons don't show up.

The enter key does not post under the circumstances quoted.

Not aware of another browser on the Hudl 2....It worked as it should, straight from the box, for a couple of months, and then a few weeks ago, the post button vanished when trying to reply to an existing post.

Go to the top of the screen (on any page) and alongside the website title, top right, are three vertical dots. Click on and scroll down to Request desktop site. Click it on or off. One of the settings vill enable the use of the enter button on Facebook (hopefully). Sometimes it works when it's enabled and sometimes when it's not enabled. Don't know why.

Hope it works for your wife.

tried that...no change....replying to comment the post button is not there, and the return button starts a new line.
Starting a discussion / creating a post...all ok, post button present bottom right.

It doesn't work every time for me, but I keep changing till it does.

The other recommendation I was given was to use the Facebook app.

It's interesting that it used to work, has there been a recent update? I've only used Facebook for the last few days.

That's interesting, we're using bookmarks to start f/b. Windows on the laptop is much easier than this !
