I'm not convinced even 4g is a good idea with PAYG! I've just bought a 4g MiFi and external aerial and did some testing with it - when I checked it had got through 400Mb in not many minutes at all and I'd only put 1Gb on the card.

I run 4g here in Spain and it is not cheap but it is very fast!

Mine is unlimited so I don't worry about how much I download!

The annoying thing is, they're just down the road from me but you cannot buy "direct", everything has to be mail order. In which case, in my book, postage should be included.

I changed my mifi purchase to a 3/4g one, glad I did as it seems 4g is the norm for some countries!

Diesel ... have a read of this thread ... a Huawei 5573 MIFI with twin external antenna inputs for £20 via Carphone warehouse - just cancel the rolling 30 day contract and you'll only pay £20!
