Hi everyone
I own Ducato based bessacarr E705
I do all my own servicing,
The rear wheel bearings are of the tapered roller type held in with a nut
With a edge that you nock over to lock it on.
I,v used mine to the point it needs a new one.
It seems that Ducato have stopped supplying them on there own you can only
Purchase them with a complete wheel bearing kit.
As anyone had this problem and have you found any.

I surpose garages don't worry about this and just put it on the bill but I do
Mind paying £50 when I only need to spend £3.

Would appreciate any help.

Regards Andy

I don't know where you can get just the nut from but I have to ask why you have been removing it so often? It should only need removing to replace the bearing.

I think you will need to spend a bit more than £3 for the wheel bearing.
See if you can find the number on the bearing and try looking on the internet.
I do know the front wheel bearings need a BIG press to push them out the hub.
Suppliers like Unipart like to sell complete hubs but the price of the kits seem reasonable.

He's asking about the nut on its own.

If you've got play in a wheel bearing then replace the bearing. I wouldn't chance a bearing failing for the sake of a £50 bearing.
