What the funster thinking on legal protection cover, is it worthwhile to have ?
I`ve had a decent renewal from AIB but just had a slightly better quote from Caravan Club but not sure about the legal protection.
Also, would legal protection with another motor policy cover me for the moho or is it specific to the vehicle being insured ?

I think it is worth having for peace of mind, it doesn't cost that much in most cases.

Check other insurance policys you have. legal expenses cover you have on one of those may cover your car as well, most don't but worth a look.

You can buy legal insurance as a separate cover from another provider.

i had an incident some years back where i needed legal services following a hit and run incident that left me injured. i was very pleased legal cover was included, or it would of cost thousands pursuing the case

Hi Chris I've been registered for 2 years but have not used them, on another forum I posted the link one member used them after car was written off by foreign lorry driver and as far as I know he was sorted pretty well with hire car etc.

I should have said registered for 15 months and not 2 years, if you read my post on getting my excess back, I registered a month later.
