Looking for and indoor and outdoor vehicle thermometer suitable for a motorhome. Would prefer one that has an ice alarm but quality would come first.

Any recommendations please?

We have one of the Oregon scientific weather stations, does inside and outside temperature, humidity, time and date and weather forecast, and it flashes at 3 degrees.

We have in on the lounge table not on the dashboard though.

And it's totally wireless.

Yes I saw these somewhere but I think Lidl have stopped selling them now, they come from Germany I think. We're in France at the moment and the Lidls in France carry different stocks so can't check that.

Have you fitted the outside sensor permanently somewhere or just place it outside when stopped. I was wondering with a wireless sender if they are fully water proof?

Thanks

Strapped it to a chassis leg, and it's been fine for a couple of years now, also got one at home on the wall outside in all weather.

I have the Oregon Scientific BAR208HG at home and have a sensor in the garden which flashes a warning at 3deg C and below. I also have a sensor in the motorhome so I can keep track of the temperature in there .... if I don't want to drain down I keep the Alde heating set at 5deg and can watch from indoors.

The ones from Lidl come around every so often like most of their stuff.
We have several. One is in the Mhome. The sensor is stuck to the bottom of the hab door step.
