Bailey Approach Autograph 740 2015 model. Does anyone know what diameter the grey waste pipe drain outlet is. Want to make a waste extension pipe for reaching hard to get to waste drains and forgot to take the measurement when visiting the van at the storage compound yesterday o_O

Yep it is also very close to ground and you hit it coming off a kerb, when I was measuring it noticed it had bashed in a bit, must have done it coming off drive last week when setting off.

We never empty washing up bowl down it now always empty it straight down service point as had a blockage on last van and not nice unblocking that!

If its like our 625, the waste outlet is tiny, easily blocked, close to the ground and only held in place by a flimsy bracket attached to the floor by two half inch screws. Not their greatest design. Still just the right size to allow a little dribble of grey waste while driving along

Thanks saves a trip to the compound, so far have not had a problem with it (early days yet!) although we always wipe plates etc. before washing them up. Did read somewhere that someone found a plastic disc stuck in the waste pipe outlet from where the hole had been cut into the waste tank and also read somewhere there is a mod you can do to make it drain faster (no not disconnecting the pipe!).

I think the mod is in the Bailey section of Motorhome Facts forum
